The Vision of DSIR
Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) is a major greenfield industrial hub approximately 100 km southwest of Ahmedabad. Government and NICDC sources describe a planned region of approximately 920 sq km across 22 villages, with approximately 422 sq km identified as developable area.

Phase-I Activation Area (TP2/TP4)
The Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) is planned across approximately 920 sq km, encompassing 22 villages of the Dholera Taluka.
The developable area is divided into six Town Planning (TP) Schemes. TP1 and TP2 form Phase I. Within this phase, the government identified an initial 22.54 sq km Activation Area (falling across TP2 East and TP4) to catalyze early industrial development.

Governance and Authorities
The Dholera Special Investment Region Development Authority (DSIRDA) is the statutory planning authority responsible for land use, zoning, and town planning regulations.
The Dholera Industrial City Development Limited (DICDL) is the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) — a joint venture between the Central Government (NICDC) and the Gujarat State Government — tasked with implementing the project, building infrastructure, and managing operations.
